NEWBORN SESSIONS
WHEN TO BOOK?
All newborn sessions are held within the first 14 days of birth at my studio. The best time to book your session is just after your 12 or 20 week scan however I may have some last minute availability too if other babies arrive early or later so it's still worth contacting to check the nearest availability. If your baby is a little bit over 2 weeks please do not worry, just drop me a message and we can discuss your session options. Contact HERE *Please note that from April 2019 all sessions booked now will happen at my new studio in RG7 4LH with only some happening at clients home subject to my availability and extra charge for travelling over 10 miles from my studio. These are mostly lifestyle sessions, fresh 48 or other simplified sessions that do not require many props and equipment.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Newborn session fee (and a minimum spent) is £375. This covers a "Simple Package" of a newborn session: your session time, equipment, props, photographer's creativity and editing of your final gallery.There are 2 payments due when booking: £95 session fee is due at a time of booking and reserves your session date and a "Simple Package" newborn session fee balance of £280 is due no later than 2 weeks before your estimated session date.
If you are booking last minute, a full "Simple Package" fee of £375 is due upon booking.
You can upgrade your package to "Sweet" or "Deluxe" any time before or during your session or after viewing your final gallery with the difference package balance due on the day of the upgrade (payment plans available, please ask).
"Wrapped" sessions are subject to availability. Please enquire.
BOOKING ONLINE
Please choose your due date as a session date when booking online. This will be estimated and adjusted once the baby comes.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Once booked I will pencil in your due month (as per your due date) and we will set the date for the session when your baby arrives. Please do not leave the booking until the last minute as sessions get booked well in advance and it is important to fit the baby in within the first 2 weeks. While we wait for your baby to arrive we will discuss the colour choices for your session and if there are some specific images that you are drawn to.
AFTER THE SESSION
Following your session the images will be edited within 1-2 weeks and you’ll be invited back to the studio for an in person face to face viewing of your gallery where you will be able to choose and order your images and any other products. Please note that the minimum spent of £375 does not include any products - the products (albums and wall art, and the digital images that are not covered within the mini package) shall be purchased separately and it can be done during the session or at your in person viewing appointment.
SESSION TIMES
Older siblings are always welcome to attend the session for some images to be taken with their new baby sibling however please have in mind that I usually work during the weekdays (school hours) with all sessions happening in the first part of the day so I may not be able to work around their nursery/nap/school times. Newborn images are once in a lifetime and for years to cherish. I therefore ask for your flexibility with work and school times.
HOW DO I BOOK

It is best not to delay to book as your session date is secured only when the payment is received. BEFORE
As soon as you make a decision to book your session please contact me without delay or just scroll down this page and pay the applicable session fee. Most of the customers book soon after the 12 week scan and it is advised to do so to secure the date for your session and to have enough time to prepare. If you have any questions about the packages at all please do not hesitate to e-mail me or provide me with your contact number and best times to contact you to discuss your session, the vision you have for it and my workflow. This will allow me to get to know you and give me a better idea of what you are looking for as well as to explain how the newborn session normally goes and what you could expect from it. It is important to book as soon as possible to allow us time to plan, style and to prepare for your session as those newborn images that you get are going to last a lifetime.
DURING
Our session will range from 1 to 4 hours. It is best to already know what you want before the session as the time while baby is asleep will be very limited. All newborn sessions happen at my studio in West Berkshire, RG7 4LH
or your home environment if agreed so (lifestyle sessions, Fresh 48 sessions only). Having worked in London the last 5 years I still cover a large area of N/W London and around since most clients especially the repeat ones do not mind travelling a little bit for their images. The normal time for a session is morning during the weekdays. Your newborn shall be under 14 days while he is still curly and sleepy. If your baby was overdue and is more advanced, the earlier the session is booked for, the better. If you missed the 14 days window, the session is still doable but you should note that it might be a lot more time and patience consuming. You will be sent a prep guide just before the session. Upon arrival we will go over our schedule, address any last minute questions and then start the shoot. We will experiment with many poses and set ups within your chosen package. If you have something specific in mind, be sure to share it with me when planning your session.
AFTER
After your session I will begin the photo editing process and set up a gallery. This generally takes 2-3 weeks, excludes holidays and off sick days. Once your gallery is complete I will arrange an in person face to face viewing at my studio so you could choose your images and products. After viewing your gallery you will be able to choose the images within your package or upgrade to another package if you wish so.

WALL ART and ALBUMS
I only work with the best printing photo labs and suggest you print via your photographer (me) for the best quality display since your newborn images will be cherished for years and I wish to provide you exactly that - only unique, bespoke and the best quality display product! After the viewing of your gallery you will be able to order products however if you have something in mind already it would be good knowing this in advance so we style and shoot with purpose.

PAYMENTS
A booking fee of £95 shall be received via bank transfer or PayPal to secure your session date. This fee is non refundable and shall not be transferred to future sessions. Minimum spent is £375 and the difference of it (which is £280) is due no later than 2 weeks before your estimated session day. If you decide to upgrade your package or order some wall art after viewing your final gallery you are expected to pay for the products at the upgrade/viewing or soon after.
PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE
We can set up a monthly payment plan via third party if you wish however no images or products will be delivered until the last payment is received. Please contact us to know more about monthly payments. We would rather discuss this and have you book your session than miss this one time opportunity of your new baby's first days!
